Day 1. Arrive Nice, Arles, Embark Ship
Be transferred to your first luxury river ship in Arles for your spectacular cruise along the Rhone River.

After your sightseeing, tour Arles or explore at your leisure.

Tour the castle ruins in Les Baux-de-Provence then visit an olive mill. Alternatively, enjoy a hike in Camargue National Reserve see wonderful bird life, or visit a 'savon de Marseille' soap factory.

Day 3. Avignon
Visit Avignon's Palace of the Popes.

Travel to the Pont du Gard, take in a round of golf or enjoy a French language lesson on board your ship.

Day 4. Viviers, Grignan
Join a truffle farmer and his dogs to head out in search of the rare delicacy.

Day 5. Tournon, Vienne
Arrive in Tournon and choose your sightseeing. Later, cruise to Vienne.

Day 6. Belleville, Beaujolais Region

Day 7. Lyon
Spend the day in Lyon.

You may wish to take a city tour of Lyon, then learn all about the city’s silk trade with a visit to a local silk workshop. Alternatively, enjoy a guided culinary walk, taking in Lyon’s most famous fresh food market, or perhaps enjoy a guided bike ride.

Day 8. Lyon, Disembark Ship, Paris
Disembark your ship and journey by high-speed train to Paris. On arrival, enjoy a special lunch at the Eiffel Tower. Later, transfer to your second river ship.

This morning following breakfast, discover a different side of Paris during your selected sightseeing activity. Late this evening, set sail for Vernon.

Alternatively, visit Versailles and discover the magnificent splendour behind Louis XIV's transformation of the Chateau de Versailles. Or, perhaps soak up the atmosphere as you explore the Montmartre district and admire the Sacre-Cœur Basilica.

Tonight, enjoy a meal and a memorable show at the world-famous Moulin Rouge. Delight in a once-in-a-lifetime evening at the Parisian cabaret, captured in the renowned paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec.

Day 10. Vernon, Giverny
Dock in Vernon and travel to Giverny where you’ll visit Claude Monet’s house and gardens, taking in scenes that inspired many of the artist’s famous paintings. Later, enjoy a Gala Welcome Dinner.

Arrive in the old fishing village of Caudebec-en-Caux and choose your sightseeing option.

Perhaps join a full day excursion tracing the events of D-Day - June 6th 1944, taking in a number of beaches and significant sites. Or, a visit to the Pays d’Auge region may be more your style as you admire typical Norman villages. Otherwise, indulge in a calvados and delicious cheese tasting on board your river ship.

Day 12. Rouen
Set in the heart of Normandy, disembark in Rouen and choose your sightseeing.

Travel to the pretty port town of Honfleur for a tour. During this excursion, see the old and picturesque port area and visit Saint-Catherine’s Church, the largest wooden church in France. Alternatively, enjoy a round of golf at the Vaudreuil course, designed by Fred Hawtree.

Signature Experience
Be welcomed at Chateau de Vascoeuil by the current owner. Take a tour of the beautiful castle and gardens, which houses a permanent exhibition of more than 50 wonderful contemporary art sculptures. You will then enjoy a private Cocktail Reception whilst you're entertained by local performers.

Day 13. Rouen
Select your sightseeing.

Perhaps spend a full day exploring the battlefields of the Somme. Visit the Australian National Memorial and the Franco-Australian Museum located in 
Villers-Bretonneux. Alternatively, a city tour will take you to some of Rouen’s most enthralling sights, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Gros Horloge and the Market Square where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. Otherwise, enjoy a guided bike ride through Rouen.

Day 14. Les Andelys
Stop at the picturesque town of Les Andelys. This evening, set sail for Paris.

The more active may like to embark on a walk up to the ruins of Chateau Gaillard for stunning views of the Seine River. Others may prefer a leisurely excursion to Chateau de la Roche-Guyon, originally built in the 12th century to control a river crossing of the Seine. Otherwise, enjoy an onboard impressionist water-colour painting class.

Day 15. Paris, Disembark Ship, Bordeaux, Embark Ship
Disembark in Paris and travel by train to Bordeaux to board your final ship.

Tonight, enjoy a special experience with a visit to Chateau de Cazeneuve, once home of the Kings of Navarre. Be greeted by the current owners who are descendants of the original owners. Enjoy time to explore before sitting down to dinner in the impeccable Grand Salon, while enjoying the music from a three-piece band.

Day 17. Pauillac
Enjoy the scenery of Aquitaine's vineyards. Disembark your ship and journey through the famous Medoc wine region. Later this evening, enjoy a wonderful Gala Welcome Dinner on board your river ship.

During a visit to a local cooperage, see how wooden wine barrels are produced, then be guided by your very own expert oenologist as you embark on a sensory wine tasting journey. Learn about Bordeaux’s various grape varieties while you sample some white and red wines.

Day 18. Blaye, Bourg
Discover the town of Blaye and take a walk around the 17th-century citadel.
